Trapped in Old RagAbout City to Trail
Living in the city is awesome. There’s freedom from driving, awesome restaurants in walking distance, and activities happening every weekend. But sometimes you have to get out, breathe some fresh air, and escape on a trail.

    • Thanks for following me back, Hazel! I grew up semi-rural based and went urban in part because I love living a car-free life surrounded by amenities. Discovering I could have the best of both worlds was kind of life changing. But to be completely honest, reading blogs like yours (8 days paddling in the wilderness – so cool!) sometimes makes me want to run into the woods and become a mountain lady.

  1. Thanks for stopping by and following Displaced Beachbums. It allowed me the chance to link back to your wonderful blog. I’m always looking for a good (great) hike around the DC area. Thanks for sharing your adventures.

  2. Thanks for following me back! I feel the same way and you have some really cool local outings and info on your blog (like goats at Congressional Cemetery last summer? Can’t believe I missed that). I’m looking forward to reading more!
